Universities in Sudan Continue to Open

In implementation of the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in charge of opening universities, The Committee of Deans of Colleges at the University of Kassala, in its meeting chaired by Professor Amani Abdel Maarouf, University President, recommended resuming academic and administrative activities in all university colleges on Sunday, November 19. This is provided that the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs announces, based on the committee’s recommendation, the academic calendar for some levels in the colleges according to the boarding school capacity of male and female students, in coordination with the National Student Welfare Fund.
The College of Graduate Studies also announced the resumption of studies tomorrow, Sunday, October 29.
The committee agreed to host some universities and colleges that submitted requests to the university administration to host them in some colleges in the field of laboratories and halls for examinations according to an agreement that preserves each party’s right.
Abdel Maarouf noted of the committee formed by a decision of the state governor, assigned to head the commander of the 11th Infantry Division, to support the Student Welfare Fund and the university in how to resume studies and prepare the environment for housing.
