World Food Program: Aid Trucks Enter Sudan through “Adre” Crossing

The United Nations announced that trucks from the World Food Program, loaded with vital food supplies, crossed the border from Chad into Sudan through the Adre crossing. This was to provide life-saving aid to people at risk of famine in Darfur.
The World Food Program stated that within a few days of reopening the borders, it had mobilized food aid for the Darfur region.
