Claudio Bravo: Barcelona Is a Small Team
Sudan Events – Agencies
Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, a former Barcelona player, downplayed the significance of the Catalan club, saying it operates like a small team internally compared to Manchester City.
Bravo, who has played for both teams, explained in a program when asked about the differences he noticed after moving from “Blaugrana” to City, “I always say that Barcelona operates like a small team. It’s a giant globally, and Madrid and Barcelona must be the most famous in the media because they are the most renowned and popular.”
He added, “Without a doubt, Barcelona is a giant, but it’s very small from the inside. You always see the same faces, a small number of people, players, staff, three or four goalkeepers, the cook, and a few other things.”
Bravo, who has been without a team since leaving Real Betis, stated that Barcelona cannot be compared to Manchester City, where he played until 2020.
He elaborated, “City is a giant in terms of organization. Its level of resources is unlimited. You find workers and staff in the swimming pool, in the locker room, in the gym, and also the medical staff.”
He continued, “They don’t spare any resources or personnel to develop the player in the best possible way.”
He concluded by saying, “You won’t worry about playing. We have the best therapist, the best fitness coach in the gym, not just one, but two or three.”
