On Thursday, activists in North Darfur announced the discovery of the bodies of two brothers, who had been missing for two months after being arrested by the RSF from the city of Mellit. They were allegedly detained for supporting the Sudanese army and armed movements.
The brothers were found in a mass grave in Wadi Qur’an, west of Mellit, alongside more than 20 other bodies. It is believed that the brothers and others were subjected to severe torture before being executed by RSF forces.
