Israel Offers Safe Exit for Sinwar from Gaza in Exchange for Hostages

A senior Israeli official announced that Israel is proposing to grant Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar safe exit from Gaza in exchange for the release of the hostages he holds and relinquishing control of the Gaza Strip. According to the German news agency, Gal Hirsch, appointed by the Israeli government to handle the hostage crisis, stated in an interview on Tuesday with Bloomberg News: “I am prepared to provide a safe passage for Sinwar, his family, and anyone who wishes to join him.”
