The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Othman Hamza, along with representatives from the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and church officials, inspected the violations committed by the RSF against both mosques and churches in old Omdurman. The governor announced a workshop next Tuesday in Port Sudan to discuss rebuilding facilities destroyed by the militias. Sevin Wasfi, a prominent figure of the Coptic Church in Omdurman, condemned the destruction and mentioned the RSF’s desecration of graves in churches in search of gold.
