The spokesperson for the U.S. National Security Council, Sean Savett, condemned the RSF’s siege of El Fasher, North Darfur, describing it as threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of displaced Sudanese facing famine. He called on the international community to pressure the RSF to cease its attacks on El Fasher.
