On Thursday, the Port Sudan Criminal Court, chaired by Judge Al-Mamoun Al-Khowas, sentenced the defendant (I. A. R. A) to death by hanging.

The court convicted the defendant of collaborating with rebel militias under Article 51(A) of the Criminal Code for inciting war against the state and Article 26(A) for collaborating with rebel militias.

The case’s facts indicate that the defendant, a foreign national, had mobilized with the rebel forces and participated in several battles, including the attack on the General Command. The court based its ruling on definitive evidence provided by the security cell, proving the defendant’s involvement in these destructive activities.
