Fourth Women’s Business Shopping Festival Kicks Off

The fourth Women’s Business Shopping Festival, organized by the Sudanese Businesswomen’s Association in Aswan, Egypt, kicked off under the slogan “You are dear to us, O homeland, despite the harsh times.” The festival is being held in cooperation with the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce and will continue until October 2, 2024.

The festival featured over 50 Sudanese women showcasing Sudanese handicrafts, leather products, traditional foods, and Sudanese-flavored cafes. Hiba Fath Al-Rahman Ibrahim, the association’s financial manager, noted that the festival encourages Sudanese women to market their skills and crafts as a means of income amid the challenging economic situation.
