Unprecedented Rise in Global Gold Prices

Gold prices in Sudan remained stable in Saturday’s trading, with 24-carat gold selling for 51,011 SDG per gram, equivalent to $85.20.
The price of 21-carat gold reached 44,635 SDG, equivalent to $74.55. The price of 18-carat gold was around 38,259 SDG, equivalent to $63.90, while the gold pound was priced at 357,083 SDG, or $596.38.
Meanwhile, globally, gold prices witnessed an unprecedented rise, with the price of an ounce exceeding $2,650. This came after the U.S. Federal Reserve decided to cut interest rates by 50 basis points, bringing the rate down to between 4.75% and 5%.
