Biden Questions “Peaceful” Elections

Sudan Events – Agencies
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, a Democratic presidential candidate, is intensifying her outreach to the Arab and Muslim communities, which have criticized President Joe Biden’s administration’s stance on the wars in Gaza and Lebanon.
On Friday, Harris met with several Arab-American leaders in Flint, Michigan, a key battleground state, and expressed her “concern about the scale of suffering in Gaza, civilian casualties, and displacement in Lebanon.” She also discussed her efforts to end the Gaza war in a way that ensures “Israel’s safety, the release of hostages, and the Palestinian people’s right to dignity, freedom, and self-determination.”
Meanwhile, as Republican candidate Donald Trump headed to the site of his first assassination attempt, Biden expressed doubts about the peacefulness of the upcoming presidential elections.
