High-level sources revealed to “Al-Sharq” the convening of a five-nation African summit, chaired by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, on October 23rd. According to these sources, the summit aims to arrange a meeting between the head of the Sovereign Council and army chief, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), to discuss the ongoing war in Sudan.
