On Wednesday, Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council Malik Agar met with a delegation from the National Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance, led by retired Brigadier General Bashir Maki Al-Bahi, head of the committee.
In a press statement, Al-Bahi said he briefed the deputy chairman on the committee’s tasks, its recent activities, and field visits to several states, particularly White Nile State and Al-Managil in Al-Jazira State.
Al-Bahi praised the victories achieved by the armed forces on several fronts, noting the participation of popular resistance mobilizers in the Battle of Dignity to repel the terrorist rebel militia and defend the nation’s sovereignty, land, and unity.
He added that the delegation received directives from the deputy chairman regarding the committee’s work, highlighting that the Sudanese people are promised significant positive developments in the coming phase. He commended the sacrifices of the armed forces, other official forces, and the popular resistance in the Battle of Dignity.
