Foreign currency prices rise again in the parallel market

The exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Sudanese pound have resumed their rise in the parallel market, while prices remained stable in Sudanese banks. Foreign exchange traders stated that the dollar exchange rate in parallel market transactions on Tuesday ranged between 2,750 and 2,850 pounds. The Saudi riyal ranged between 733.33 and 760 pounds, the Egyptian pound between 56.58 and 58.64 pounds, and the UAE dirham between 749.31 and 776.56 pounds. The euro reached 2,989 pounds, the British pound between 3,571.42 and 3,701.29 pounds, and the Qatari riyal between 753.42 and 780.82 pounds.
Foreign currency prices in Sudanese banks remained stable. The purchase price of the dollar at the National Omdurman Bank was 1,990 pounds, while the selling price was 2,004.92 pounds. At Faisal Islamic Bank, the purchase price of the dollar was 1,985 pounds, and the selling price was 1,999.88 pounds. The purchase price at the Bank of Khartoum remained at 1,982.00 pounds, with the selling price at 1,996.87 pounds.
