Military sources reported that the army has made significant progress in its operations against the Rapid Support Forces militia in central Khartoum.
A military source told (Al-Taghyeer) that the army managed to secure the most challenging areas in Al-Mogran, including the Friendship Hall, which was taken over by special forces, alongside Zain’s headquarters, the electricity company, Khartoum Water Authority, Al-Shaheed Mosque, and the Central Bank of Sudan, in addition to neutralizing several buildings.
The source added that the army’s main challenge is the presence of snipers in some areas, stressing the army’s determination to fully clear central Khartoum.
