“Shendi Executive” Directives on Kabushiya Agricultural Project

The Executive Director of Shendi locality, Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, announced the readiness of his locality for the winter season and the expansion of agricultural areas to secure food and enhance productivity.

During a meeting with farmers from the northern sector of the Kabushiya Agricultural Project on Thursday, Abdel Ghaffar directed them to continue cleaning the main canals and urged farmers to mobilize local efforts to immediately start clearing the northern section of the project. He also instructed the project management to maintain ongoing cleaning operations.

The meeting discussed methods for irrigating and delivering water to the northern section and providing a new pump for the project. Abdel Ghaffar emphasized the project’s significance due to its vast areas, fertile land, and diverse agricultural products, noting the importance of the northern section as a substantial addition to the project.
