Army Deploys Reinforcements to Darfur

Local sources in Malha, northeast of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, revealed on Saturday the arrival of new military reinforcements from Dabba in the Northern state for the first time since the war broke out.
These military reinforcements for the Sudanese army come three weeks after similar reinforcements arrived for the joint forces affiliated with allied armed movements from the desert front.
A high-ranking military source, who requested anonymity, told “Darfur24” that “Malha witnessed on Friday the arrival of new military reinforcements for the army coming from Dabba in the Northern state.”
The source added that the reinforcements included approximately 180 four-wheel-drive combat vehicles, accompanied by hundreds of fighters and equipped with advanced military gear.
He mentioned that some of the forces are headed to El Fasher, while others are moving towards other unnamed cities in the region.
