Investment Minister: Countries Show Interest in Investing in Sudan

Sudan’s Sovereignty Council member, General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, praised the Ministry of Investment for its efforts in promoting regional and international partnerships, urging continued promotion of investment opportunities. In a meeting with the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Madani Mahdi, the minister highlighted the ministry’s performance from January to October, including processing around 800 investment-related applications, reflecting a revival in national and foreign projects.

The minister also noted that several countries expressed interest in investing in Sudan, particularly in free zones. She emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships to foster mutual benefit, highlighting opportunities in various sectors, especially industry, which has contributed to balanced development and local job creation.
