The General Directorate of Civil Defense has emphasized the need for safety measures on floating vessels to prevent accidents and safeguard citizens’ lives.
Major General Qurashi Hussein, the Director of the Emergency and Operations Department, inspected several sites to ensure safety measures were being implemented.
He stated—according to the official spokesperson platform—that safety measures include wearing a life jacket and ensuring the boat’s readiness and the driver’s license validity.
He highlighted the increased wave speed in the Red Sea State, stressing the administration’s commitment to implementing a comprehensive safety plan supervised by the General Director of the Civil Defense Forces, Major General Dr. Osman Atta.
