Sovereign Directive to Activate Government Websites

Member of the Sovereign Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Engineer Ibrahim Jaber praised the performance of the Ministry of Communications and Digital Transformation and its affiliated units. This came during his meeting with the Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, Adel Hassan. He directed the need to activate all government ministry and unit websites through the information center affiliated with the Ministry of Communications, ensuring that the ministry provides the necessary technical solutions. For his part, Minister Adel Hassan praised the Ministry of Interior’s interest in digital transformation and using technology to provide services related to passport issuance and documentation, as well as the digitization of procedures. Additionally, he mentioned that the Ministries of Health and Justice are currently striving to complete their digital transition. The minister pointed out ongoing serious efforts to complete the requirements for networking between the Ministries of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Animal Resources, the Bank of Sudan, and the Customs and Standards Authority to manage import and export procedures through a single window. He affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to meet all the needs of ministries and government units regarding technical consultations, hosting websites, and any historical information those entities wish to store at the National Data Center of the Ministry of Communications.
