Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The Darfur Expert Team on Resolution (1591) will begin a three-day visit to the country next Sunday. The visit aims to follow up on the implementation of the resolution, during which the delegation will meet with the relevant officials.
A government source described the visit as important at this time the country is going through, amidst the current developments, in addition to the reliable reports from United Nations experts that confirmed the involvement of some countries in supplying the rebel militia with weapons and equipment.
