Kabbashi Calls for Strengthening Foreign Policy to End Rebellion

Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabbashi, a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and deputy commander-in-chief, has directed the Foreign Ministry to reinforce its role in supporting military efforts aimed at ending the rebellion and restoring stability in Sudan.
Kabbashi met on Thursday with Acting Foreign Minister Ali Youssef at his office.
The Sovereignty Council member pledged his full support for the Foreign Ministry to enhance Sudan’s foreign policy, aiming to inform the international community and global public opinion about the reality of the situation in Sudan, which has been impacted by the actions of what he described as a terrorist militia targeting citizens and the nation’s resources.
For his part, Ambassador Ali Youssef stated that his meeting with the Sovereignty Council member was productive and successful. They discussed various national issues related to the security and safety of citizens, as well as the Foreign Ministry’s and Sudanese diplomacy’s role in supporting the “Battle for Dignity.”
