Militias Continue Raids in Gezira Villages, Forcing Residents to Flee

The “Nidaa Al-Wasat” platform has called upon all residents of Gezira State to liberate the region from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The platform confirmed that the militia has displaced villages in Al-Hasahisa and Al-Kamleen localities.
In a statement, the platform reported that the village of “Abu Adara” in the Tabat Al-Sheikh Abdul-Mahmoud administrative unit suffered attacks by RSF-affiliated gangs, who committed widespread violations against residents, causing injuries and forcing them to flee the village.
The platform also revealed that RSF gangs have imposed financial levies on residents of Al-Raba’a Al-Awamra, charging 150,000 SDG per family for permission to leave the area.
Additionally, it reported that the RSF militia continued to displace residents from the village of “Wad Al-Maid” and overran the village of “Al-Laoota Al-Hajjaj” in Al-Maseed countryside. There, the RSF carried out various violations, including assault, mistreatment, and looting, forcing the villagers to flee and leaving the area completely deserted.
