Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The Nidaa Al-Wasat platform reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia continued its systematic attacks on villages across Al-Jazeera State, resulting in 44 “martyrs” and dozens of injuries over two days, according to preliminary figures.
These attacks have also caused the displacement and forced migration of thousands of residents from the targeted areas, which had served as safe havens for displaced people from other regions, according to the platform on Facebook.
The platform stated that in Al-La’outa Al-Hujjaj village, 20 martyrs were reported, while Al-Tawamsa village recorded 16 martyrs, including a three-year-old child.
In Umm Marha Musa’id village, one person was killed, while Al-Safaa village lost five of its residents—all women and a child—due to artillery shelling. Additionally, the villages of Wad Galouqa and Abu Khadra each reported one martyr. The martyr from Abu Khadra village was originally from the Jebel Awliya area.
