The Death Toll in “Al-Hilaliya” Rises to 527 People

The Jazeera Conference announced that the death toll among the people of Al-Hilaliya has risen to 527 since the Rapid Support Forces took control of the area in late October. Meanwhile, the number of people fleeing from villages in eastern Al-Jazeera has exceeded one million displaced individuals.
The Secretary-General of the Island Conference, Mubarak Mahmoud, stated according to “Sudan Tribune” that the monitoring committee of the conference has documented 527 deaths in the city of Al-Hilaliya, including 53 children and 293 women, during the period from October 21 to November 17.
Mahmoud pointed out that these developments have led to the displacement of tens of thousands of people from villages in eastern Al-Jazeera, particularly from areas such as the localities of Al-Kamilin and Al-Lauta, with the total number of displaced individuals exceeding one million.
