At least five people were killed, and several others were injured on Sunday night after the Rapid Support Forces militia targeted a mosque in the northern rural area of Omdurman with heavy artillery.
A statement issued by the media of Khartoum State confirmed that “five civilians were killed and others injured in the militia’s bombardment of worshipers at the mosque in the village of Al-Rashad, east of Al-Harizab in the northern rural area of the Karari locality during the Maghrib prayer.” The statement added that among the injured were children who sustained serious injuries.
