Mohammed Abdel Rahman After Sudan’s Qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations: Thank You to Saudi Arabia

Sudanese national team player Mohammed Abdel Rahman thanked “Saudi Arabia” after the Falcons of Jedian qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Kingdom has hosted training camps for Sudanese national teams, starting from the senior national team and including the Olympic team, in preparation for their participation in international tournaments since the outbreak of the crisis in Sudan.
The Sudanese team secured their spot in the Africa Cup of Nations finals after earning the qualification point from Group 6 with a goalless draw against Angola on Monday at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi in the final round of qualifying.
The Sudanese team increased their points to eight, finishing in second place behind Angola, which had already qualified early with 14 points. Niger came third with seven points after a crucial 2-1 win over Ghana, leaving Ghana stuck at three points from three draws.
This will be the Sudanese team’s tenth appearance in the continental tournament, which they won once in 1970 on home soil.
