Hamas: Washington Is a Direct Partner in the Genocide in Gaza

The United Nations Security Council failed on Wednesday to adopt a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip after the United States used its veto power against the draft resolution presented by the ten non-permanent members of the council. The U.S. representative in the Security Council said that the United States would not support an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza without the release of hostages held in the Strip. He added, “An unconditional ceasefire means accepting continued Hamas control over Gaza, and we will never accept that.”
