Sisi: Just and Sustainable Peace is a Strategic Option for Egypt

The Egyptian presidency stated in a statement today (Thursday) that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi affirmed that a just and sustainable peace is Egypt’s strategic option, and it compels the armed forces to continue building “comprehensive power capabilities” to protect the country from any dangers.

This came during a meeting between Sisi and army leaders to discuss developments on the regional and international stages.

The statement confirmed that Sisi praised the army’s efforts to protect Egypt’s borders from any potential threats and that the president “discussed with army leaders the efforts to secure all of the state’s strategic directions and the army’s readiness to carry out the tasks assigned to it.”
