Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Informed sources have revealed that there have been conflicts and disputes within the Rapid Support Forces militia involved in “Operation Decisive Storm” between the Rizeigat tribe on one hand and the Al-Missiriya and Al-Hawazma tribes on the other. The sources indicated that the rebellious Colonel Ahmed Ismail Daglo, who is affiliated with the Rizeigat tribe, downgraded the ranks of members from the Al-Missiriya and Al-Hawazma tribes to lower ranks as punishment for their refusal to change the frontline sectors and their demand to be returned to Sudan.
The sources also mentioned that the relevant authorities in “Operation Decisive Storm” summoned the rebellious General Hussein Manzoul, the militia commander in Saudi Arabia, and the rebellious Colonel Jadoo Hamed Baya to resolve the issue.
The sources disclosed that the number of individuals from the Al-Missiriya and Al-Hawazma tribes in the sector is 410, and they continue to disobey the militia leadership’s orders.
Furthermore, the sources clarified that Colonel Ahmed Ismail Daglo is working on procedures to renew his passport in order to travel to the UAE and then return to Sudan.
Information also indicated that Mustafa Ibrahim, the financial affairs officer of the Rapid Support Forces militia, has been frequently traveling to Saudi Arabia. Recently, he received the compensation for the injured and martyrs and deposited it into his personal account in the UAE.
