The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Malik Agar, addressed the second forum for regional governors and state officials, which was held on Thursday at the government secretariat in Port Sudan.
Agar provided a briefing to the governors regarding the security situation in the country, highlighting the significant role the states could play in supporting the armed forces, confronting the challenges of war, and meeting the humanitarian and service needs of the citizens.
The forum discussed the recommendations of the first forum and reviewed the implementation status, with 75% of the recommendations having been carried out. The forum also addressed the preparations for the Sudanese certificate examination, with several guidelines set to ensure its success at the scheduled time.
Additionally, the forum discussed the process of currency change and the role of the governors in that regard.
