Gaza: Oxygen and Water Run Out at Kamal Adwan Hospital
The Ministry of Health in Gaza said today (Friday) that Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza has run out of oxygen and water due to Israeli shelling last night.
The ministry explained in a statement that the shelling “led to the destruction of the main generator of the hospital and the puncturing of water tanks, leaving the hospital without oxygen or water, which poses severe danger to the lives of patients and the staff inside.”
The statement noted that the hospital has 80 patients, including 8 in intensive care, and said that six medical staff members were injured in the shelling, with some in critical condition.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that the Israeli shelling on Gaza yesterday (Thursday) killed at least 90 people, noting that Israeli drones dropped bombs on the courtyard of Kamal Adwan Hospital.
