Serie A: Milan and Juventus Draw Ends in Stalemate
AC Milan and Juventus played to a goalless draw on Saturday at the San Siro in a Serie A match that lacked excitement and scoring opportunities.
Juventus, missing their top scorer Dusan Vlahovic due to injury, opted to start the match without a traditional striker. Midfielders Weston McKennie and Teun Koopmeiners led the attack but failed to threaten the opposition’s goal.
Coach Thiago Motta delayed making substitutions, and forward Timothy Weah, introduced ten minutes before the match’s end, was unable to spark a change. The final whistle was met with a chorus of boos from the crowd.
Juventus remains the only unbeaten team in Serie A this season but has drawn seven matches, leaving them in sixth place, three points behind league leaders Inter Milan.
Milan also stayed in seventh place, six points behind Juventus, though they have a game in hand.
