Central Bank: Replacement of 1,000 and 500 Pound Banknotes Soon

The Central Bank of Sudan has announced that it will soon begin replacing the 1,000 and 500-pound banknotes through deposits into bank accounts.
The bank urged citizens to open bank accounts by visiting branches of active commercial banks as soon as possible to avoid crowding and to benefit from advanced electronic payment services.
The Central Bank encouraged citizens to easily and conveniently open bank accounts, becoming part of a safer, more stable, and advanced financial system.
