Sudan Events – Reports
Twelve people were killed and others injured following an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on the villages of Saada Al-Kawahla and Artimili in the Abu Quta countryside, Al-Jazeera State. All residents of the two villages fled as the militia looted their property, destroyed the only healthcare center serving over 50 villages in the area, and seized its medical equipment and drug stockpile.
The Sudanese Doctors Network condemned the killings, looting, and forced displacement by the RSF militia in Al-Jazeera villages, describing it as part of the largest humanitarian catastrophe.
The network called on regional and international organizations and rights monitors to exert pressure to stop the ongoing killings and forced displacement and hold the RSF and its supporters accountable for the continued violations against civilians.
