U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Sudan is facing “the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.”
Blinken, speaking on the sidelines of the G7 summit held in Italy, explained that he had visited the World Food Program in recent days, where he received an updated report on the situation on the ground and the challenges facing humanitarian efforts.
He emphasized that there has been tangible progress in recent weeks, especially regarding expanding humanitarian access to the affected areas.
