Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The Joint Force of the Armed Movements revealed the death of foreign mercenaries crossing the borders who participated alongside militias in the war in Sudan, on the walls of Al-Fasher from Libya, Niger, and Chad.
The official spokesperson for the Joint Force, Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, stated that many mercenary leaders were killed in Al-Fasher, including the leader of the Chadian “FACT” movement, Mahdi Bashir, and Idris Barkawi, who died in Wadi Ambar, the far north of Darfur.
He pointed out in statements on the Joint Force’s Facebook page that the situation has now evolved, with the UAE becoming the main supporter of the terrorist militia, which relies on mercenaries from across continents. He noted that in a special operation in the desert front, their forces succeeded last Friday in cutting off huge military and logistical supplies heading to the Janjaweed.
He added, “The unfortunate part is that the incoming force includes mercenaries of various nationalities, from Africa, Asia, Europe, and even South America, with the majority being from Colombia, and we have evidence of this.”
