Skyrocketing Car Prices in Rabak City

Car traders in the Rabak vehicle market in White Nile State have reported a dramatic increase in car prices, described as “astronomical.”
According to one car broker, the price of a Hyundai Accent (standard model) ranges between 16–17 million Sudanese pounds, while the “inflated” model costs between 17–18 million pounds. The Hyundai Elantra is priced at 20 million pounds, and the Toyota Corolla has reached 30 million pounds. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Verna is priced at 13 million pounds, and the Visto at 12 million pounds. The Maruti recorded the lowest price at 5 million pounds.
The brokers also revealed that their commission fees have been raised from 200,000 to 500,000 Sudanese pounds to keep up with the increasing car prices.
