Sudan Events – Follow-up
The Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army, Lt. Gen. Shams El-Din Kabbashi, arrived in White Nile State to assess the progress of military operations.
He was received by the state’s governor and the commander of the 18th Infantry Division, Maj. Gen. Sami Al-Tayeb.
Kabbashi praised the high morale of the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the 18th Infantry Division and their great sacrifices for maintaining security and stability in the country. He highlighted the support and solidarity of all sectors of the Sudanese people with the armed forces in their fight for dignity.
