Gedarif Government Makes Arrangements for the Relocation of Returning Displaced People to Their Areas

A regular meeting of the Gedarif government, held on Monday under the chairmanship of Acting Governor of Gedarif, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed, concluded with the decision to provide solar energy to villages along the border strip, with the costs shared equally between the state and the local efforts in the concerned villages.

The meeting also decided to hand over water sources to the state water authority, which will carry out maintenance and expansion of these sources, in addition to maintaining examination centers and providing seating for students a week before the start of exams.

The meeting directed the provision of transportation for returning displaced people to their areas with the involvement of the Zakat Fund, organizations, and the state.

Additionally, the meeting decided to review stalled projects in health, education, and water, with efforts to complete them.
