The Transitional Cabinet issued a decision on Wednesday prohibiting government institutions, agencies, public and independent companies, as well as medical and service funds, from accepting cash payments from individuals or entities. Payments must now be made via electronic or banking methods approved by the Central Bank of Sudan.
This decision aligns with the currency exchange plan and aims to promote financial inclusion by incorporating government agencies and companies into the electronic payment system.
