The Army Retakes Al-Shabarqa and Advances Toward Wad Madani

The Sudanese army has taken control of the city of Al-Shabarqa in Al-Jazirah State and advanced toward the eastern gate of Wad Madani city.
Field sources told “Al-Muhaqiq” news website that army forces, supported by the Counter-Terrorism Bureau of the General Intelligence Service, special support units, joint forces from the movements, and the Sudan Shield Forces, conducted military operations in Umm Al-Qura locality, Al-Shabarqa, and several villages in Al-Jazirah State. After fierce battles, they managed to regain control of multiple areas and villages.
The sources reported that the army forces defeated the militias in Al-Shabarqa following continuous clashes since dawn on Thursday, ultimately taking control of the city.
On the Al-Managil front in Al-Jazirah State, Sudanese army forces reached the Bayka Bridge, located about 18 kilometers from Wad Madani city.
The sources also mentioned clashes near Bayka Bridge, the main entry point to the state capital, which the army has encircled from three primary directions.
