The armed forces and the joint forces of the resistance and popular movements, supported by artillery, succeeded in destroying 15 combat vehicles and a tractor carrying military and logistical support for the militia.
The operation also resulted in the death of several militia fighters who had come from southeast Al-Fasher, while approximately 170 militia members fled in various directions outside the city of Al-Fasher, dressed in civilian clothes.
The Sixth Infantry Division, in its daily press release, confirmed that eyewitnesses reported numerous withdrawals of militia forces from the city of Miliit heading westward after the defeats they suffered from the armed forces and the joint forces recently in the desert axis.
The Sixth Infantry Division added that its forces had destroyed ten suicide drones launched by the militia towards the positions of the forces, while special forces and reinforcements continued extensive sweeping operations in the city’s neighborhoods, during which several collaborators and infiltrators were arrested.
The Sixth Infantry Division also confirmed that its forces had gained full control over all areas liberated from the militia, while noting that the Rapid Support Forces militia had shelled the southern neighborhoods of Al-Fasher on Wednesday with five 23mm shells, resulting in the martyrdom of one woman.
