The Director-General of the Khartoum State Water Corporation, Engineer Consultant Mohamed Ali Al-Ajab, revealed that the Manara Water Station was recently reactivated after seven generators were provided and are now working in rotation. In a press statement on Monday, he explained that the station resumed operation thanks to significant efforts, and the water supply was successfully restored to the network.
He added that the water supply has returned to many households, and he expects the restoration to reach other areas in the coming hours. He praised the efforts of Sovereign Council Member, Lt. Gen. Yasser Al-Atta, in providing the necessary resources to facilitate the reactivation of the station. He also thanked the state government, as well as the technical and engineering teams stationed at the site of the station, and offered his apologies to the citizens for the recent water shortages they had endured.
