On Saturday, the Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited the Military Industry Complex in the Qari area, which belongs to the Defense Industries System, accompanied by Sovereign Council member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, and Director of the Defense Industries System, Lieutenant General Mergani Idris.
Lieutenant General Burhan assessed the extent of the destruction and sabotage caused by the criminal Al-Daqlo militia at the Military Industry Complex, reaffirming the state’s commitment to rehabilitating and rebuilding it as one of Sudan’s important development pillars.
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council renewed the state’s determination to continue its battle to eradicate and eliminate this militia. He added, “The loyal sons of Sudan are capable of building and rebuilding this strategic facility.”
He praised the workers in the Defense Industries System who have continued their efforts to restore this sector so that it can play its role in supporting the national economy.
