New Changes in Crop Prices

Crop prices at the Gedaref Commodity Exchange have recorded a new increase.

The price of a quintal of sesame ranged between 175,000 SDG for cash sales and 184,000 SDG for bank transfers.
Meanwhile, the price of an ardeb of sorghum ranged between 165,000 SDG for cash sales and 190,000 SDG for bank transfers.
The price of an ardeb of red millet was recorded at 260,000 SDG for cash sales and 270,000 SDG for bank transfers, while the price of an ardeb of white millet reached 220,000 SDG for cash sales and 230,000 SDG for bank transfers.
The price of a sack of lentils was recorded at 225,000 SDG for cash sales and 240,000 SDG for bank transfers.
Additionally, the price of a sack of chickpeas stood at 215,000 SDG for cash sales and 235,000 SDG for sales via “Bankak.”
