Agricultural Bank in Sennar and Blue Nile Distributes Fuel to Farmers
The Director of the Agricultural Bank branches in Sennar and the Blue Nile, Dr. Abdullah Al-Taweel, launched the distribution of diesel fuel to farmers in the presence of security agencies and local farmers.
Dr. Al-Taweel announced the simplification and facilitation of procedures for all farmers and emphasized the importance of delivering fuel to remote areas before the onset of the rainy season. He noted that all branches of the bank in the Blue Nile region and Sennar State are committed to serving farmers.
Meanwhile, Minister of Resources and Economic Development, Dr. Al-Hadi Al-Sadiq, praised the banks for their quick financing procedures. He encouraged farmers to exert more effort and gave promising news to small-scale farmers about the provision of improved seeds. He also announced the ministry’s and extension units’ readiness at the state level to provide technical and technological support to farmers.
