Dismissal of Sheikan Insurance Director
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikan Insurance and Reinsurance Company, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, issued a decision to relieve Awad Mohamed Omar from his position as General Manager and the Army’s representative on the company’s board of directors.
The decision also appointed Tareq Abdel Salam Dafallah as the new representative of the Armed Forces and General Manager of the company.
This move comes as part of a broader restructuring process targeting several institutions affiliated with the Armed Forces, aimed at improving administrative performance and strengthening the capabilities of state-run entities.
The decision instructed relevant authorities to take immediate action for its implementation and to annul any previous decisions that conflict with the new directive.
