South Sudan’s Foreign Minister Mandy Simaya arrived in Port Sudan on Saturday for a two-day official visit to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation amid the challenges facing both countries.
He was received at Port Sudan Airport by Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohy El-Din Salem, along with senior ministry officials and South Sudan’s chargé d’affaires in Sudan.
During the visit, Minister Simaya is scheduled to meet with several senior Sudanese officials.
This marks his first visit to Sudan since assuming the post of Foreign Minister of South Sudan.
