“Al-Rajhi Agricultural” Resumes Operations in Sudan
The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation announced the resumption of activities by Al-Rajhi Agricultural Company of Saudi Arabia in Sudan, following an official meeting between Minister Ismat Qurashi and company leaders during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to the ministry, the agreement includes the company’s return to agricultural and investment operations in Sudan, contributing to attracting more foreign investment and enhancing food security at both the national and regional levels.
Al-Rajhi Agricultural Company is one of the leading Gulf firms operating in the agricultural sector and has prior experience in Sudan in both crop cultivation and livestock production. Its return is seen as a significant boost to the Sudanese economy amid the country’s ongoing challenges.
